Drake Smyth and Zoe Gibson began dating. (the first time)

Zoe and Drake, along with his mother and stepfather, go on a 1200 mile roundtrip journey to Homer, Alaska. One of Zoe's favorite places!

Drake relocates to live with his father in the Dominican Republic and the pair start to lose touch. Although efforts are made for occasional emails and texts, the pair is unable to make time to catch up due to school, work, Drake's transient lifstyle and Zoe's eventual cross country move.

After eight years as friends, along with six years of limited but heartfelt contact, Zoe and Drake finally find themselves in Fairbanks, Alaska at the same time. What started as catching up for an hour or two, turned into talking until the sun rose and getting coffee at Lulu's at 5am! The pair decide to celebrate their reunion with another trip to Homer, Alaska before Drake heads back to the Dominican Republic once again.

Drake follows his heart and returns to Fairbanks, sooner than expected, where Zoe is working on her degree.

Zoe and Drake (unoffically) find themselves living together. They spend their time with one another enjoying the holidays, and try to soak up as much time as possible before Drake returns to support family in the Dominican Republic.

Then... Surprise!

Drake and Zoe make plans to relocate to the Dominican Republic, this time together!

The pair discovers that Zoe will need to return to the US to give birth, while Drake stays to begin construction. They decide to celebrate with a babymoon on the coast before Zoe has to head back to Fairbanks by herself.

Reunited again! After a few weeks of hard work contructing a road and making preparations for the site that will one day house their dream home, Drake is able to return to Alaska.

Declan John Anthony Smyth is brought into the world!

The pair, now a trio, finally make their permanent relocation to Drake's family farm in the Dominican Republic.

After months of preparation and planning, they begin construction on their dream home, a cozy 1500sqft house nestled in the Dominican jungle.

During a visit with Drake's mom, the trio take some time away from house projects to unwind.

Although currently visiting Alaska, Drake, Zoe and Declan spend their time in the Dominican Republic, putting the finishing touches on their dream home and enjoying the sunshine!
