Flights:
First things first: you gotta get here! Please review the weekend schedule and plan to arrive early if you’d like to enjoy the full wedding weekend.
We recommend flying into Puerto Plata (POP) Airport, which is approximately 30 minutes from the wedding venue and accommodations.
Alternatively, flights into Santiago (STI) Airport can sometimes be cheaper, but note that it’s a bit farther—about a 2-hour drive from the venue.
We’ll help arrange transportation from either airport, so let us know your plans in advance.
There’s no visa requirement to enter the Dominican Republic. Upon arrival, you’ll automatically receive a 30-day tourist visa. If you plan to stay longer, you won’t need to reapply; you’ll just pay a small exit fee at the airport when you depart.
If you’ve been to the Dominican Republic before, you may already be familiar with the E-Ticket process. If not, don’t worry—it’s simpler than it sounds! If you RSVP through this website, we’ll send you an email reminder at the right time with instructions for filling out the form and any necessary details.
Here’s the official E-Ticket website, which must be completed:
Important: Avoid websites that charge a fee for this service—they’re scams.

Both resorts can be booked through Airbnb and are within 45 minutes of the wedding venue.
Looking for something different? The Dominican Republic offers a variety of experiences, from nature adventures to nightlife. Let the bride or groom know what you’re looking for, and we’d be happy to provide personalized recommendations!
This large resort offers a variety of amenities and is a great option if you’re extending your stay.
A more laid-back option with direct beach access, perfect for relaxation.
Transportation:
How will you get around?
We don’t recommend renting a car unless you’ve driven in the Dominican Republic before or have experience driving in major cities like New York.
However, if you’re staying on the North Coast, public transportation is widely available and easy to navigate in most populated areas. The two resorts we’ve recommended are located in walkable towns, so you won’t need a car.
If you’re staying in cities like Santiago, Uber is another popular and affordable transportation option.
